How to Build Your Supplement Stack Without Wasting Money
The supplement industry is a $50 billion machine designed to make you think you need more than you actually do. Walk into any store or scroll any fitness page and you'll see stacks of 10-15 products promising to transform your body. Most of it is unnecessary. Some of it is straight-up useless.
I've spent years—and more money than I'd like to admit—figuring out what actually works versus what just has good marketing. Here's how to build a supplement stack that's effective, efficient, and doesn't drain your bank account.
Start With the Foundation (Not the Fancy Stuff)
Before you buy a single supplement, ask yourself: are my basics covered? Sleep, nutrition, hydration, training consistency. If those aren't dialed in, no stack in the world will save you.
Tier 1: The Non-Negotiables
Quality Greens Blend — Most people don't eat enough fruits and vegetables. A good greens blend fills micronutrient gaps. TFx FOUNDATION is what I take every morning.
Creatine Monohydrate — The most researched supplement in existence. 3-5g daily. Improves strength, power, and cognitive function.
Electrolytes — You can't perform or recover when dehydrated at the cellular level. TFx HYDRATE makes your water actually work.
Tier 2: Strong Evidence, Worth Adding
Protein Powder — Convenient for hitting 0.7-1g per pound of bodyweight.
Vitamin D3 — Most people need 2,000-5,000 IU daily.
Omega-3 Fish Oil — Anti-inflammatory, supports heart and brain health.
What to Avoid
Proprietary blends, testosterone boosters, fat burners, and BCAAs — mostly marketing with minimal results.
The Bottom Line
Build your stack with a strong foundation, add proven elements, ignore the noise. Check out our full supplement collection.
Not perfect. Better. Not someday. Every day.
